The OSE Galaxy
One mission. Three levers.
We build the science and practice of entrepreneurial ecosystems in Africa. Three sites carry that mission, each with a distinct role — and the value of the group comes from the way they combine.
- Observe
what makes ecosystems work
OSE · ose.africa - Train
the builders who construct them
ADALIA · adalia.ac.ma - Advance
the science that illuminates them
EERS · eers.adalia.ac.ma
The three sites
The observatory. We map the support actors of entrepreneurial ecosystems across Africa, MENA and emerging regions — qualified data, diagnostics, decision tools.
- What we deliver
- Data on 28,500+ actors across 140+ countries · the five-layer scientific framework · OSE Expert (dataviz) and OSE Connect (database).
- Who it serves
- Governments, donors, embassies, foundations, researchers, ecosystem builders.
The academy. Capacity building deployed where it's needed — online, on-site, in ecosystem residency — to train the people who design, fund and steer ecosystems.
- What we deliver
- Short modules, Executive Programme, professional certifications, applied research. Built on the OSE scientific framework. Deployable across Africa.
- Who it serves
- Public agencies, donors, incubator networks, executives, consultants, doctoral candidates.
The research society. A scholarly home for entrepreneurial ecosystem research — six editions across Europe and Africa, with the next one coming.
- What we deliver
- Annual research school, calls for papers, scholar network, peer-reviewed contributions to the science of entrepreneurial ecosystems.
- Who it serves
- Researchers, doctoral candidates, faculty, evidence-minded practitioners.
Why these three together
An observatory without an academy ages — its data sits unused, its insights don't reach the people who could act on them.
An academy without an observatory drifts — it teaches yesterday's cases rather than today's evidence, and can't say where to deploy capacity building.
And neither hold up without a research society — without the scholars who advance the framework, both the data and the teaching run on borrowed credibility.
The three are designed to circulate the same scientific framework from observation to practice, and back.
